I don't know the answer on thru-hulls and that's a GOOD SIGN!

() The Malo thru-hulls have been mostly trouble free for many years, based on the experience of my friends. I have heard of only one recent incident where some form of brass may have been substituted for bronze. I think my ball valves are constructed with bronze housings and stainless steel ball valves. Since they have been totally trouble free for 9 years, I don't know anything about them!
