Our scheme for locking the wheel

While puzzling this one, I posted for ideas. Here's what I came up with. Carabiners can be clipped on to loops at appropriate wheel spokes. from there, the control lines criss-cross to padeyes on the pedestal base then up to a pair of cam cleats. The line is continuous so one pull can release both control lines. Our goal was to be able to release the wheel while coming at the pedestal from any direction. Once released, the lines allow full motion of the wheel. This has performed well so far and isn't too ugly when not in use.
