The most innovative new boat I saw this year was ISOBEL

Designed and built at Brooklin Boatyard in Maine. I saw it racing and at the docks. Interesting when someone specifies a personal sailboat design to be built. Fascinating process, I'm sure. Only one "customer" to please. A high performance boat for racing and coastal cruising. The design goes against some traditional boat design, so some may grimace. I like it overall. It's nice to see the results of these design/build boat projects right here in Maine.

It looked nice on the water the day I saw it. I'd like to sail it.
