I assume your boat had bonded thru-hulls?

Wonder if this would have been an issue if the thru-hulls weren't bonded?
In my boat no metal that touches water is bonded. Even the engine ground is disconnected from 12v negative, except during the momentary switch contacts from starting and stopping.
