Bonded or Floating 
In Response To: Like I said, "I have limited knowledge about ()
From my reading an unbonded boat is called by having their metal "Floating" I've never known an insurance to stipulate bonded but then again I'm no insurance expert and maybe they're just going the way a surveyor said. And we all know about he quality of some surveyors! Hell, you and I could pay the big bucks and be one. 
But then again. I'm not looking for any work.
