We'd (guy trip) come over from New London after work, and arrived after dark. Wind was blowing pretty good from the NW, and we were making 9 knots (Morgan 24) approaching the cut. First thought was to get slowed down - not really sure what we'd find inside. Dropped the jib and proceeded in under main. Followed one false lead down a row of power boats N of Starr Isl, then finally found our way down the E side of Starr Island into the pond - without incident. Anchored (thankfully) for the night.
