() a crap shoot each time you remove one. I've had masts down for maintenance several times and it was always very stressful. I never bent anything but I think it was more by luck then by design. The guys in the yards always seem to swing them around about twice as fast as they should. What a PITA. all the shrouds, electrical wiring, Radar, instrumentation, mast wedges and on and on and on! It's a full days work to get mine down. And that's when I was young!
