In Response To: When you do it every year you get it down to a simple process... ()
and the last two times were done at the same boatyard in New Zealand. That should be my goal - only pull the stick in NZ.
I replaced the standing rigging in Annapolis without pulling the stick. The price of a pro to do the job was almost triple the cost of DIY.
It does take a full day's work to prep for the pull. The last time I stepped it the splices in the radar, VHF antenna and wind instrument cables were eliminated. Pulling those cables back will add even more time on the next pull.
