One of the downsides of having a unique rig is no one wants to touch it. A couple of yards have said "we won't touch it unless you are here". And if I'm there I might as well do the work so it will be done right. If I just turned some random boatyard workers onto it, there would be damage as they discovered what they didn't know, then I would have to repair the damage.

Whether on the boat or the house, I have found that just writing a check is often the beginning of the problems, not the end.
