I left a couple of things out

Our mast stepper is out near the north end of the club where the water gets shallow(PPP). As much as I tried, I could never completely avoid the rocks on the bottom so the Islander was almost always hung up either getting to, or leaving the stepper. More stress.
Our stepper is also not designed all that well (we are working on that). In order to swing the mast over onto horses sometimes the cable comes off the sheave. More stress.
The club members are all trying to get hours in so most times you have power boaters "helping"...........more stress.
If we can get the mast on or off in 45 minutes it has been a great day on the north coast. Some boats take more time than that.
