I take the sails and booms off before we haul the boat. That generally takes about an hour. My lazy jacks are set up so that I just have to unclip them from the booms and secure them to the mast, which takes less than 5 minutes per mast. Disconnecting the wiring at the main and mizzen is a matter of a few seconds at the main (unplug electrical and VHF plugs). At the mizzen I unplug the radar cable, tie a messenger to it, pull it out of the cabin and coil it under the mast. The entire prep process takes considerably less than two hours for two masts. Once the boat is out of the water I pull cotter pins and loosen the turnbuckles while the crane is setting up next to my boat. The next step is to remove the masts, which generally takes about 15 minutes per mast. I do the on boat work while the crane operator runs the crane and secures the masts on the truck for transport. Somnetimes we get a third guy to help, which speeds things up.
Last Fall the charge to haul, unstep both spars and truck the boat to winter storage was about $375. The boat is a 36' ketch.
Of course, I have gone both ways with the masts 18 times, so I am getting pretty good at it
