The consensus at the club was to "just bend it back while in place".......I started testing the plan last weekend by putting some lateral pressure on it. The base plate appears to flex which really concerns me, a jig of sorts might be the answer. I was figuring a come-along but need to rig a brace or in some way control where that flex happens, better yet keep it from happening at all. I would really have a mess if the base cracked or the toe rail was damaged.
