I've suffered from being a poor man all my life. If I had a lot of money in a boat I figured I should be living aboard it to amortize the cost, as it were. Same with a house. Never had a cabin but it would have killed me to not live in it full time. It's not a priority I ever really worked out. What has changed for me is the amount of money that constitutes a "must live there" attitude. It used to be about seven grand, now it's more like thirty grand. Time's apparently do change.
