The thing for me is that I enjoy the tinkering nearly as much as the sailing. I like just going down to the boat and adjusting this, varnishing that, sewing the other... as my recent posts on my outboard might show.

Time messing about on boats for me is quality time. I am near the water... I am listening to seabirds... the smell of the ocean is in the air and there are no friggen deadlines. Quality time. But yeah, there is never enough.

Speaking of which.... I gotta go slap on another coat of varnish and go drive the tender about a bit. GRIN
