Wait, where are the strain guages and the like...

I mean hey, you are doing a destructive test there... shouldn't have all sorts of calibrated equipment to capture the results of your testing...
Or does it just come down to... well it takes N amount of torque to open a beer bottle and this test was X times N, thus suits the application easily. GRIN
