Wow, what a deal to keep a boat. On a dock, no less.

I don't know how we got here, but the trend to pick up used boats to 'live aboard', is startling.
Interesting addition Tom
I wondered how your club was growing it's boat population.

I wish we had something like that here...
I had no idea

Wondering also. I pay $4.00 ft, per month, electric is flat rate $15, live aboard is flat rate $25

The trend is because older, larger liveaboards are cheap
Considered doing that livaboard thing with a cheap boat...
Let's not forget that the sailing mags all push "BIGGER" Can't live on something under 40-45 feet!!
Now performance - driving the new cheese wedge shaped hull - is making sailboats bigger, still.
Really cheap "liveaboards" around here are just now starting to anchor in the rivers full time.
The yachtsman is one sinking (think failed hose clamp) away from homeless!
Grin Not on my boat!! ain't any through hulls under the water line! I took 'em ALL out and
Charlie, you may be both an old fogie and an inoclast but
but can't argue the fogie- turned 75 on the 31st of Jan
