At $5,500 for the first year including the initiation, I would be ahead after the first year. Keeping a boat in the marina here costs $115 a foot with no pool or anything like that. Winter storage runs another $60-$100 a foot IF you can find a self service yard.

- Let's not forget that the sailing mags all push "BIGGER" Can't live on something under 40-45 feet!!
- Now performance - driving the new cheese wedge shaped hull - is making sailboats bigger, still.
