Yeah, good one. Not a J Boat at all, but sure is a performance boat too.

One thing that stood out for me looking on the site I posted (builder's site), in the area with a few basic specs like length/beam/draft, etc., they list the name of the INTERIOR DESIGN firm that did the inside of the boat! LOL!

It's a clean, beautiful boat inside, top dollar custom job obviously, but it made me wonder if maybe the builder paid just a bit too much attention to interior styling and design...just a thought! A boat of that price shouldn't lose its rudder in the pretty normal conditions talked about the ARC article.

Design and flash over strength and performance? Who knows. But it makes you wonder. Lotta load on a big performance spade rudder like that. (I assume it's a spade.) Two helms. Extra stuff to go wrong.
