Pump outs are also few and hard to access here. We just go outside the 3 mile limit and pump out - on an outgoing tide if possible.

Personally I am glad to see the no discharge zone. I have been adjacent to a boat with a lectrasan when it was used. There may have been very few living bacteria in the discharge, but the effluent was very obvious and the smell was very noticible.

Our setup puts ALL waste into the holding tank. The outlet of the tank is connected to a Y-valve where the discharge route can be selected
