they were purchased about 4 years ago, two sizes (they only come in two sizes) and they do come apart. I'm not sure why you would want to, because if given the smallest maintenance and turned a couple of times a year, they seem to last forever. I have valves (these use the same ball arrangement as the flanged seacocks) that are 25 years old, work just fine and not even one sign of de-zincification .
