That would last all night.
I don't have to tell anyone here what the night would be like. There was a bit of protection from Nigh Duck from the wind, but the waves wrapped nicely around the little rock and hit us about 30 degrees off the bow.
If it weren't for the cheer of the fireplace, a very nice dinner, an extra ration or two of wine, we may not have made it.
Monhegan notes: It's a beautiful island, not to be missed if you're near. About a 100 or so people were visiting the island having arrived on small ferries from the mainland. Some were day trippers, many were overnight, or two, in the few hotels and b&bs.
