Is there a lot of grass down in the San Blas Islands?

() I think we will try to leave Annapolis in early October and wander down to Florida, then cross over to the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos , through the Windward Passage to Jamaica and finally to the San Blas Islands and Panama. Any advice you have for us would be much appreciated. We will be going through the canal too.
