No way is that anchor gonna pay that much of a dividend in superior performance... Just my opinion, of course, but you can't do any better than the Rocna or Manson Supreme of equivalent size... Hell, buy a couple of those for way less than a stainless Ultra, use them in tandem, you'll be WAY ahead of whatever performance the Ultra will offer...

Not to mention, those fancy stainless jobs are a favorite target of thieves - you'd better leave those pit bulls loose on deck if you leave the boat at a dock unattended in South Florida... Show up in a place like Nassau, and drop a hook worth over $2K on the bottom, seems like a good way to wind up on the rocks in the middle of the night, and nothing but chain coming back up over your bow roller... (grin)

Seriously, I'd think twice before going with such an anchor, so many better ways to put your hard earned money to use...
