Knowing the bottom is important

Bahamas or anywhere. Knowing the bottom is extremely important. Heave grass or hard pack top that needs to be "punched" through, fisherman type, soft mud - Heavy Heavy burying type, as you mentioned sand lightly over hardpack then maybe the Rocna or Supreme, Light marl any except the fisherman type. Same direction of pull (two anchors or more) then Fortress / Danforth type.
