Why not go to the local Apple Store and get an iPad 2

Get it with WiFi and 3GS, along with USB adapter to up-load photos directly from your camera to the iPad 2.
I use my iPad 2 much more now than my MacBook. Pictures on the iPad 2 are absolutely stunning!

- Yes, when Cruising outside the US, probably not worth it.
- Because the 3G version has built-in GPS for nav programs, the WiFi version requires a separate Blue-tooth GPS
