() Here, I think it is a PITA to always have to join some Wifi Network. I would rather pay the $25.00 per month and be on 3G, when and where I want. Here at my home, and at some of my Family members homes, the iPad 2 recognizes that I have been on their WiFi before, and automatically switches to their Wifi while I am in range.
And if you know that you are not going to be using the 3G function, you can turn it off and back on when ever you like.

- Because the 3G version has built-in GPS for nav programs, the WiFi version requires a separate Blue-tooth GPS
