Why 3G? 
In Response To: Why not go to the local Apple Store and get an iPad 2 ()
Curious why 3g. According to what I saw on the Apple site 3G comes with a contract for Verizon or ATT, none of which will do any good cruising outside the US. Maybe there is some advantage I don't know about.

- Yes, when Cruising outside the US, probably not worth it.
- Because the 3G version has built-in GPS for nav programs, the WiFi version requires a separate Blue-tooth GPS
