These things always take longer than you think.

When I was VP of a software development company, I had to bid jobs. I'd review the specs and carefully calculate how long it would take to make each modification and write, debug, test, and implement each new program, right down to the hour. Then I'd double it.

I installed my own Filter Bosses. I figured, heck, just bolt them to the bulkhead and connect the fuel lines, run the wires up to the helm and connect the switches. What, four or five hours? Try about 35. LOL!

Today I'm installed two Electrosense gauges for my water tank and waste tank. All I have to do is drill a 1.5" hole in each, insert the sensors, find a place to mount the receiving unit, and connect them with cat 5 cables. This should take what, and hour? We'll see.
