I don't want to learn on the job when it's my own boat. I want to learn on your boat. 
Many boat projects are certainly within the capabilities of most do-it-yourselfers, but I think something as important, and expensive, as installing all new electronics should involve a professional.

- Well speed and depth shouldn't be all that much...
- Hourly rates vary but I would guess about 15 hours to install the instuments, and
- I'll take a guess $1,500.00 labor only.
