Did that Tom back in 1993. Great sailing but very high taxes and long cold winters. Buck Harbor is beautiful and the club and marina very hospitable but it really is a long drive down down country roads from Bucksport, which is a long ride from Bangor, etc. There once was a really terrific fine dining restaurant over to the West of the yacht club. I guess they went oob some years back and the land was purchased by the club and used to expand their parking lot. For temporary mooring renters, beware of the 30 day limit Maine use tax and "revenuers" out to collect
