It is a heavy sucker. I don't have one but friends do and I've helped some with removing; re-installing it. I don't understand why companies continue to put the diode packs in the unit. Not that this would reduce the weight much but seems that it would ease the cabling requirement. If your shipping AC down the wires and then convert to DC in the boat you could run smaller wires. What am I missing?
