In Response To: I received some interesting advice last week

() we had to go through a number of draw bridges on the San Francisco Delta rivers. We called each and every one on the VHF channel that the sign on the bridge said to. NOT ONE gave us a reply! In every case, we had to use a cell phone and got a quick reply. NOT GOOD.

- Makes sense. Some of the exchanges with the CG heard on VHF have bordered on disturbing.
