() Along with the improved clarity of GSM over VHF, they had our lat/lon somehow embedded in the call. Would DSC have provided the same (but without the clarity)?

- After PFDs, the CG usually asks, "Do you have a phone onboard?"
- Makes sense. Some of the exchanges with the CG heard on VHF have bordered on disturbing.
