I would suggest that true cutters are very much in a minority. Probably about like ketches.
There are reasons for that.
Please don't take that as derogatory. I think the work best a part of tactics for shortening sail (either with or without a removable fore stay or a permanent one). But for pointing and really optimizing air flow and efficiency, if cutters and ketches were so wonderful, you would see a lot of them on race courses.
What percentage of short, medium, and long haul racers have them? I would say only a small fraction.
Most ketches and cutters that I see seldom have their mizzensail or stay sails deployed.
