years it starts to rust because I let it get to hot by cooking shrimp in a butter sauce. At that point I take it back to West Marine and get a new one. I pay the 25 bucks and take out the insurance. With that, I'm good for another couple of years until it starts rusting again. I take it back, buy the insurance and....... I find that the Magma is a great size for our boat and as long as it doesn't rust it looks fine and works OK. I'm not a Barbeque nut so as long as it cooks meat I'm good with it. It's not a bad price and as long as you live within a reasonable drive to WM it's a good deal.
