Never had a problem blowing out. I did put some foil around the bottom vents which helped quite a bit in extra windy conditions. We had the grill hooked up to a 10lb tank at the stern. The piezo broke but I put another in. The burner bar along with the burner bar cover were replaced after 4 years. The plastic cap on the valve fell off and I purchased a new valve but all in all the Magma Newport was a good BBQ .

We actually have the large Magma Monterey attached to a railing at our house and use it all the time.
