Bruce - Not sure where I posted about Magma. If I've every owned one it was long ago. I've certainly had them aboard on deliveries and my biggest issue has been keeping the older round ones lit in a wind. I seem to recall heat unevenness across the grate as well. If you can point me to my old post that might jog my mind.

I've had the Dickinson Sea-B-Que for so long and been so happy with it I don't really remember anything before that (other than Weber charcoal and gas grills that I still really like ashore).
