Since we are on the subject... I've got a Magma Kettle... have yet to fire it up...

() I just assumed that the regulator was probably bad and needed replacing before I even tried. That is the item that normally fails on these, right?
I BBQ at home in a gas Weber... and am pretty good at it (so my family says). So I figured I could probably use the Magma. Any hints for use? Regulator replacement sound about right as typical?
