she recovers totally. We just carried the bikes over to Mission Bay (the bike route that Gene posted) on the rack to stay off the streets. We did about 12 miles. We try when ever possible but have to chance it a bit once in a while to get to some of the paths around town. What you just described is me biggest fear. Best of luck to your wife.
