in the photo was only flown for a short time for the photo. The real sail that I wanted to point out is the Mainster.
If pressed, I would have to say that the asymmetrical sail I bought was the biggest waste of money, FOR OUR BOAT. We are cruisers not racers and we also can't keep it up for more than a short time.
HOWEVER, we have used our Mainster often and it works GREAT to get us moving in light air!

New to me too, this is a full batten main.
- Most full battened mains have batten tensioners....
- Velcro doesn't stand up to UV well
- All of my beach cats had lacings. One bad thing about full battens in very light air
- I felt that locked shape was the key to getting going in less air than before.
