I have a rats nest of wiring to deal with. I believe the original engine harness was put in without shortening. That means there are many feet - coiled up and secured - of excess wire.
I'm thinking I'll cut it off at a proper length, if that makes sense. Not doubt I've opened a can of worms but in doing this, but I'm forced to figure out what I have for wiring, and beginning to understand it.
There's a lot of stuff that was detached and left that is hard to trace that just just gets left sleeping.
