He's been following my cockpit build. When he saw the old gauges in my new engine panel, he recalled having the old Hobbs engine hour meter, somewhere in his 'stuff'. He found the old meter - never installed, still in the original box - and he sent it to Maine, as a gift!

I left just enough room for another 2" gauge so I carefully taped the area for cushion, clamped a scrap of wood on the back, and blasted another hole in the Lexan.

Voila!
