They said I need to enable NMEA0183 port even though the data is connected over NMEA2000. I enabled and now I get all the Raymarine instruments, including wind data, and rudder control, via the Raymarine Seatalk to SeatalkNG bridge and it speaks to the Raymarine AP.

However, I still don't see any AIS data coming in. That's the last piece. I need to look again at how my AIS unit is connected. Worst case I connect another Cat5 wire for NMEA 0183 serial connection to the helm.
