I think they did it that way so you could easily mount it into a panel then cover the screws. (The external bracket wasn't included).

- I called B&G support today
- The old B&G Hydra (18 years) used only NEMA 0183. NEMA 2000 didn't exist then. NO problem with data
- All sounds good! I'm filing these for reference when I wire mine up.
