I bought an SIMRAD NSE/NSS CABLE NMEA/video on eBay Part number 032-0056-08 (Approx $30 including shipping). I only used the NMEA0183 "in" leads to hook it up to my AIS transceiver at 38.4kbps.
Now I have ALL my Raymarine wind/speed/depth/AP/heading converted from Seatalk coming in on NMEA 2000, and the AIS coming in on NMEA0183.

If I touch and hold or tap, I get the vessel details. It's a big ship. (I still need to change setup to use feet instead of meters):
