In theory that may be true, but in reality, it may not. NHS is under huge pressure to cut costs so it uuses many indirect ways to not do some procedures. Something like you are 20 LBS overweight so they won't authorise surgery. Another example is in dentistry. getting into a new NHS dentist because you move, or your old dentist retired or some similar situation can take over two years and may be 100 miles away. This was fully documented in various publications in 2007 while I lived there. rickf
