We're still without broadband phone access. If I had more business need to step up, I would right now. It's coming though even for plain household use for us.
I only found a few spots I couldn't get wifi onboard through my macbook. However, we needed it more this trip than we did say 5 years, or even 2 years ago. A few times for business, weather/current info for specific spots, news, and getting a hold of kids. It's an important source of info.
