Always wanted to try it, but my folks were far too frugal and sensible to own a boat. Sailing lessons were out of the question as they too cost $$$. But we spent lots of time playing in the waves and collecting sea shells and sea glass. I was finally lucky enough to find a boyfriend (now husband) who both skied and crewed on race boats. I think my folks still think we're crazy to own a boat.
