Both of us are from non-sailing families. Actually, we can trace sailing to skiing. Randy got into sailing when a work buddy, who knew he skied, asked if he wanted to crew on a race. A lot of people up this way ski in the winter and sail in the summer -- the two sports complement one another perfectly.
