Now there's a memory. I did ice for 25 years over 2 boats. On my P39 I could load 120 lb plus food in the reefer. The ice would last for about 2 weeks, although I added to it when I was able. I could keep previously frozen stuff pretty well, but no ice cream. With my new boat I have a freezer. Nothing excites a dinner party on board like serving ice cream and fruit for dessert.
